Amman, Dec. 2 (Petra) – Head of the Greater Amman Municipality committee Yousef Shawarbeh on Tuesday evening lit the Christmas tree at the Sixth Circle, in a gesture celebrating the values of brotherhood, tolerance and goodwill in the Kingdom.
Shawarbeh extended his warmest congratulations to Christian communities on the occasion, saying the celebration reflects the highest meanings of interfaith harmony, coexistence and solidarity among Jordanians and reinforces national unity.
He said the occasion renews the values of love, peace and tolerance, praying that it returns to the world, the nation, and His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince with goodness, health and well-being.
