Jerash, Oct. 19 (Petra) A delegation comprising presidents of Arab constitutional courts visited the ancient city of Jerash on Sunday as part of an official trip coinciding with the Regional Symposium of Arab Constitutional Courts being held in Jordan.
Jerash Governor Malik Khraisat described the governorate as “the jewel of Jordanian tourism” and a model of effective administration and hospitality.
The visiting judicial leaders commended Jerash as a distinguished example of preserving historical heritage and promoting cultural tourism, praising the official and community efforts that contribute to its continued vitality.
The delegation was headed by President of Jordan’s Constitutional Court Judge Mohammad Al-Ghazo and included Egypt’s Supreme Constitutional Court President Judge Boulos Fahmy, Iraq’s Federal Supreme Court President Judge Mundher Hussein, Lebanon’s Constitutional Council President Judge Tanous Mechleb, and Palestine’s Supreme Constitutional Court President Judge Ali Muhanna, along with representatives from Morocco’s Constitutional Court.
During their tour, the delegation explored Jerash’s prominent archaeological landmarks and visited the Al-Mawa Wildlife Reserve, expressing admiration for the city’s beauty, organization, and warm hospitality.
