Amman, December 17 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Wednesday received Deputy Commander of Canadian Joint Operations Command, Maj. Gen. Timothy Arsenault and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting held the General Command headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF), Huneiti, in the presence of the Canadian Ambassador to Amman and several senior JAF officers, discussed aspects of joint military cooperation and coordination in various training and logistical fields, which contribute to developing the military capabilities of the both friendly countries’ armed forces.
Huneiti also emphasized the “deep-rooted” military Jordanian-Canadian relations, praising the existing level of cooperation and its role in exchanging expertise and raising level of readiness to confront shared challenges.
In turn, Arsenault commended the JAF’s efforts in maintaining regional security and stability, stressing the importance of strengthening joint military cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
