NNA – Lebanese Army Commander, General Rodolphnbsp;Haykal, inspected today the command structure of the 2nd Land Border Regiment, and the quot;Qozhaiya Bitarquot; and quot;Al-Musherfehquot; posts in the Al-Qaa area, alongside an army unit of the 9th Infantry Brigade in the Hermel area.

The Army Chief met with officers and soldiers, commending them on their efforts and congratulating them on the holidays. He was briefed on the difficulties facing the units within their sector of responsibility. He hailed their exerted efforts in monitoring and controlling the border, which directly contributes to preserving Lebanon#39;s security and stability.

Addressing the officers and soldiers, General Haykal said: quot;The army is the unifying national institution that protects our homeland in all its sectors. Soldiers from all Lebanese regions join it to defend the homeland and preserve its security both internally and along the border. You are performing your duty to the fullest, thanks to your determination.
