
Amman, Oct.19 (Petra) – Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, on Sunday received an Emirati delegation at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)– Arab Army, headed by Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi.
The delegation also comprises CEO of G42 International, representatives from M42, a company specializing in healthcare and digital solutions, Space42, a company specializing in space technology solutions powered by artificial intelligence, and Presight, an artificial intelligence company.
During the meeting, both sides discussed cooperation prospects in the field of medical technology, cybersecurity applications, artificial intelligence, and communications, aimed to develop the military health sector and enhancing the quality of medical services.
The two sides also went over ways to exchange expertise and benefit from the two countries’ “successful” experiences to build an advanced military health system that aligns with future requirements.
Huneiti emphasized the “deep-rooted brotherly” Jordanian-UAE relations, noting the importance of technological modernization to keep pace with global developments in the medical field.
For his part, Al Mansouri expressed his appreciation for the level of Jordanian Royal Medical Services and its reputation regionally and globally, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
A number of senior JAF officers and members of the accompanying Emirati delegation attended the meeting.
