Amman, August 29 (Petra)– The Southern Military Zone, yesterday, thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics into the Kingdom using a drone, according to an official military source from the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF).
Border Guards detected the drone, monitored its movement, and enforced the rules of engagement, leading to the seizure of its cargo within Jordanian territory, the source said, adding that the confiscated drugs were handed over to the relevant authorities.
