Amman, Jan. 26 (Petra) — Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) turnover was at JD8.4 million on Monday, with 4.1 million shares changing hands through 3,092 transactions.
The ASE general share price index closed at 3,534 points, down 0.27%.
The industrial sector index fell 0.60% and the financial sector declined 0.36%, while the services sector rose 0.18%.
Of the 105 companies on the index, 40 posted gains and 36 declined, compared with previous closes.
