Amman, Jan. 28 (Petra) — Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) turnover was at JD 11.3 million on Wednesday, with 5.1 million shares changing hands through 3,382 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,526 points, down 0.59 percent.
The financial sector fell 0.79 percent, services declined by 0.31 percent, and industrial shares were down 0.14 percent.
Of the 104 companies on the index, 26 posted gains and 44 dropped, and the rest remained steady from previous closings
