Amman, Feb. 9 (Petra) — Monday’s trading volume in the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) was at JD8.5 million, with 4.2 million shares changing hands through 3,395 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,600 points, 0.61% down from the previous closing.
The financial sector index fell 0.69%, services declined 0.56%, and industry dropped 0.29%.
Of 99 companies on the index, 20 advanced, 39 declined, and the rest were steady.
