Amman, Oct. 29 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed Wednesday’s session on a “positive” note, with the general index edging up by 0.28 percent to 3,323 points.
Ending the session, market turnover reached JD8.8 million, with a total of 4.1 million shares, traded through 3,869 transactions.
Sector-wise, the ASE’s financial and industrial indices rose by 0.42% and 0.16%, respectively, while the services benchmark slipped by 0.12%.
Out of 96 ASE-listed companies that traded, 27 advanced, 35 declined, and the rest remained unchanged.
