Amman, July 30 (Petra) – Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD18.1 million on Thursday, with 9.6 million shares traded
through 5,649 transactions.
The ASE General Index rose 0.44 percent to 3,996 points.
The services sector index gained 0.68 percent, and the financial
sector index rose 0.61 percent, while the industrial sector index
declined 0.58 percent.
Of the 112 companies whose shares were traded, 48 recorded gains, and
36 posted declines compared with their previous closing prices.
