Amman, Oct. 20 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading volume of JD14.4 million on Monday, with 5.6 million shares exchanged across 4,576 transactions.
The general stock price index closed at 3,319 points, marking a modest increase of 0.03 percent. Sector performance was mixed, with the industrial index rising 0.23 percent, the services index up 0.10 percent, and the financial index slightly declining by 0.03 percent.
Of the 106 companies traded, 36 saw their share prices increase, while 36 experienced declines compared with their previous closing prices, reflecting balanced market activity.
