Amman, Feb. 23 (Petra) — Turnover at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) was at JD8.8 million on Monday, with 4.9 million shares changing hands in 2,356 transactions.
The general index closed at 3,627 points, up 0.04%.
The services and industrial sectors’ indexes gained 0.61% and 0.06%, respectively, while the financial sector dropped 0.21%.
Of the 91 companies on the index, 30 rose, 25 saw declines and the rest remained steady from previous closes.
