Amman, Oct. 23 (Petra) — The total trading volume at the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD14.7 million, with 7.1 million shares traded through 5,201 transactions.
At the price level, the ASE general index closed at 3,301 points, marking an increase of 0.86 percent.
Out of 104 companies whose shares were traded, 41 recorded gains, while 26 saw declines compared with their previous closing prices.
By sector, the financial index rose by 1.14 percent, the industrial index by 0.43 percent, and the services index by 0.25 percent.
