Amman, Dec. 1 (Petra) – The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed on Monday with a total trading volume of JD11.3 million and 5.3 million shares changing hands through 2,634 transactions.
The ASE general index dropped 0.2 percent to 3,426 points.
The financial sector index saw a decline by 0.51 percent, while the industrial and services sector indices rose by 0.27 percent and 0.26 percent, respectively.
Of the 104 companies on the index, 29 saw their stock prices increase and 36 dropped.
