Amman, Feb. 3 (Petra) — Trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) totaled JD14.7 million on Tuesday, as 4.7 million shares were exchanged through 4,671 transactions.
The ASE general price index closed at 3,611 points, up 1.09%, against the previous session.
Sector indices advanced across the board, as the services level rose 2.79%, while the financial and industry benchmarks edged up slightly by 0.51%, and 0.33%.
Of the 111 listed companies traded, 39 ended higher, while 36 others declined, compared with their previous performance.
