Amman, Feb. 11 (Petra) — The total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD7.2 million on Wednesday, with 2.5 million shares changing hands through 2,924 transactions.
The ASE general share price index closed at 3,610 points, up 0.08 percent.
The services sector index rose 0.61 percent, industry gained 0.44 percent, while the financial sector declined 0.26 percent.
Of the 104 companies on the index, 35 posted gains, 32 suffered losses and the rest were steady, compared with previous closes.
