Amman, Nov. 26 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total market turnover of JD7 million on Wednesday, with 3.2 million shares traded through 2,462 transactions.
The ASE benchmark index closed lower at 3,425 points, shedding 0.23 percent, compared to the previous session.
On sectoral performance, the services and industrial indices declined 0.41% and 0.23%, respectively, while the financial index slipped 0.14%.
Out of 99 listed companies that traded during the session, 26 equities advanced, while 39 went down compared with their previous closing prices.
