Irbid, Feb 10 (Petra) – The Public Health and Safety Committee in Bani Kinana District, in cooperation with the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), seized on Tuesday quantities of juice products manufactured in violation of health regulations that were intended for sale during the holy month of Ramadan.
Acting Irbid Governor Raed Al Jaafreh said coordination was carried out after information was received by the administrative governorate in Bani Kinana, in cooperation with the JFDA. All seized juice products and the violator were referred to the Authority’s laboratories to complete the necessary legal and administrative procedures.
Al Jaafreh stressed that there would be no tolerance for health violations affecting citizens’ safety and well-being, noting that a joint market inspection plan has been put in place with relevant authorities during the holy month of Ramadan.
