China to Increase Defense Budget by 7.2 % in 2025Beijing, 5 Mar (QNA) — China today announced a 7.2 %
increase in its 2025 national defense budget.
The planned defense expenditure of the country will be 1.784665
trillion yuan (about $249 billion) this year (2025), according to a draft
budget report submitted to the national legislature for deliberation.
The 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), China’s national
legislature, opened its third session at the
Great Hall of the People in Beijing this morning.
