Amman, Oct. 21 (Petra) The Civil Service Consumer Corporation announced the launch of a series of discounts and promotional offers on more than 350 food and non-food items in all its markets, starting Wednesday and continuing until the evening of Sunday, Nov. 2, with reductions ranging from 7 to 45 percent.

Acting Director General Issam Al-Jarrah said in a statement Tuesday that the offers will primarily cover essential goods such as rice, sugar, vegetable oils, tea, powdered milk, legumes, and tahini, along with cleaning and household items. These discounts are available at all 69 corporation outlets across the kingdom in quantities sufficient to meet consumer needs.

Al-Jarrah encouraged consumers to visit the corporation’s official Facebook page for details on products and pricing. He added that the initiative aims to provide basic goods at affordable prices while maintaining high quality standards, helping to ease the financial burden on citizens.

The timing of the discounts coincides with salary disbursement periods to maximize public benefit. Consumers can also order items online through the “Averat” delivery app available on Android and iOS in Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Madaba, and Balqa. Residents in the capital can additionally order via the corporation’s online store at www.jcsccshop.gov.jo or its mobile app, “Civil Consumer Store.”
