Occupied Jerusalem, May 31 (QNA) – Dozens of colonists stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque Sunday under the protection of Israeli police and raised Israeli flags during the incursion.
According to Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), citing local sources, the colonists entered Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in groups through the Mughrabi Gate, performed Talmudic rituals, carried out what the sources described as provocative tours in its courtyards and raised Israeli flags near the Dome of the Rock under the protection of Israeli police.
Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subjected to increasingly frequent incursions by colonists, a development that is viewed as a serious escalation and a violation of the sanctity of the mosque. (QNA)
