Consumer Protection Authority Organizes Second Quality Forum
Muscat, 10 Nov (ONA) — The Consumer
Protection Authority today organized the “Second Quality Forum” in cooperation
with Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit.
The forum reviewed the Authority’s
experience in applying quality standards and adopting continuous improvement
practices.
The opening ceremony was
held under the auspices of Dr. Hamad Mohammed Al Dhawyani, Chairman of the National
Records and Archives Authority.
The forum coincides with the World
Quality Week, themed “Quality: Think Differently.”
The forum included three working
papers on the concept of ‘smart quality’ and the achievements made by “Injaz” digital
platform, in addition to a visual presentation featuring the Consumer Protection Authority’s
experience in implementing a standard quality management system.
During the
forum, it was announced that the Authority’s branches in the governorates of Oman had
obtained the ISO “9001:2015” Certification. This international recognition
affirms the Consumer Protection Authority’s commitment to efficient quality management
systems and the consolidation of institutional performance.
