Doha, April 03 (QNA) – Al Wakrah defeated Qatar SC 4-1 in Week 20 of 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Friday.
Al Wakrah delivered a commanding performance, with four different scorers securing an emphatic victory that lifted the visitors to 26 points in the standings.
Yusuf Abdurisag opened the scoring early with a fifth-minute header, before Aissa Laidouni doubled the lead with a powerful long-range strike in the 29th minute. Redouane Berkane added a third just before half-time after capitalizing on a defensive lapse, giving Al Wakrah a comfortable advantage at the break.
Amin Zahzouh extended the lead in the 60th minute to seal the result. Qatar SC missed a penalty shortly before that and managed only a late consolation goal through Ahmed Al Rawi five minutes from time, remaining on 28 points. (QNA)
