
Dollar Rise Against Other CurrenciesSingapore, 19 Jun (ONA) —- The US dollar rose against other currencies in today’s trading.
The dollar index, which measures the currency against six other units, rose 0.11% to 99 and was set for about a 0.9% gain for the week, its strongest weekly performance since late January 2025.
The Australian dollar fell 0.3% in recent trading at $0.6489, while the New Zealand dollar slipped 0.5% to $0.5998.
Emerging market currencies also struggled, with the South Korean won 1% weaker.
The euro hit a one-week low and was last 0.25% weaker at $1.1455.
The yen last fetched 145.13 per dollar.
Sterling was 0.14% lower at $1.3403.
