Amman, Sept 10 (Petra) – Southern Military Zone troops foiled a dawn attempt Wednesday to smuggle in a quantity of narcotics by a drone on its western front within its area of ??responsibility.
Border guard forces, in coordination with security agencies and the Anti-Narcotics Department, spotted the aircraft, applied the rules of engagement and shot it down inside Jordanian territory.
The items seized were referred to competent authorities.
