Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) – The Martyr Wasfi Al-Tal Armored Brigade/2, part of the Eastern Military Region, conducted on Sunday a command post exercise (CPX) titled “Roar of the Lions,” attended by the Chief of Staff Assistant for Administration and Human Resources and several senior military officers.
The Assistant was briefed by the commander of the Eastern Military Region and exercise officials on the exercise’s objectives, troop deployment, underlying assumptions, and operational environment.
The exercise aimed to enhance the readiness and efficiency of the brigade’s units, train commanders at all levels in planning conventional and unconventional operations, and improve joint cooperation across different weapon and service branches, thereby boosting operational capability and effectiveness under various conditions.
This drill is part of the annual training plans implemented by the Jordanian Armed Forces to assess the efficiency of its formations and military units and reinforce combat readiness to face future challenges.
