Cairo, July 29 (QNA) – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria spoke by phone Wednesday to discuss the priority of stepping up regional and international efforts to prevent the return of sweeping escalation in the region.
Both leaders stressed that their nations support a peaceful settlement of the current regional situation and noted that any attempt to undermine the security and sovereignty of Arab nations is a non-starter.
They concurred on ramping up coordination and consultation between the two countries pertaining to a variety of regional issues amid ongoing challenges. (QNA)
