Cairo, Jan. 29 (Petra) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reaffirmed that the displacement or forced migration of the Palestinian people is unjust and unacceptable.
Speaking at a joint press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, President El-Sisi underscored Egypt’s historic and unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing that it will not be compromised under any circumstances.
On the issue of Palestinian displacement, El-Sisi stressed that Egypt will neither tolerate nor allow such actions, given their direct and serious implications for Egyptian national security.
He reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to working with the U.S. administration, particularly with President Trump, to advance a two-state solution that guarantees Palestinian rights and prevents any violation of their historical entitlements.
Highlighting the longstanding suffering of the Palestinian people for over 70 years, El-Sisi noted that Egyptian, Arab, and global public opinion recognizes the historical injustices faced by Palestinians.
He also pointed to the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where relentless destruction has continued for over 14 months, warning that such conditions are aimed at making life in Gaza unlivable, thereby facilitating forced displacement.
El-Sisi underscored that Egypt has maintained a clear and firm position from the outset, rejecting any such scenario.
