Amman, Jan. 27 (Petra) – The Ministry of Environment has launched awareness and incentive initiatives aimed at promoting positive behaviors and fostering a culture of social responsibility and public cleanliness as part of the executive program to reduce random waste disposal.
The initiatives include the “Cleanliness Knight” program, which honors individuals who adhere to civilized behavior in maintaining cleanliness, highlighting them as positive role models that contribute to raising community awareness.
The ministry is also reviewing a proposal to highlight repeat offenders of serious violations related to random waste disposal within regulatory frameworks, while considering legal and social aspects, aiming to curb irresponsible behavior and enhance compliance with the rules.
These initiatives are part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to increase environmental awareness and strengthen community partnerships, ultimately achieving a clean and sustainable environment.
