Khartoum, Jan. 13, 2025 (SUNA) – Minister of the Federal Chamber of Governance, Engineer Mohamed Salih Kurtikeila, met today with the Wali of East Darfur State, Mohamed Adam Abdel-Rahman, and members of the Armed Popular Resistance Committee to review the committee’s performance and enhance coordination between federal and state authorities in the post-war phase.The meeting included a briefing by the Committee’s Chairman, Al-Toum Hasab Al-Rasoul Al-Toum, on its activities in supporting the Armed Forces and organizing volunteer mobilization.The Wali praised the Popular Resistance as a cornerstone of the Battle of Dignity, highlighting its role in uniting communities behind the Armed Forces and defending national sovereignty. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to supporting the committee’s programs and strengthening its institutional capacity in line with laws and regulations.Minister Kurtikeila commended the committee’s efforts and described its work as a positive model for other states.
