Manama, Oct. 31 (Petra)– Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi, met with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani today to discuss measures to improve the situation in the area and the two kingdoms’ long-standing fraternal ties.
Safadi and Al Zayani reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing coordination on regional issues and expanding cooperation across multiple fields during their meeting on the sidelines of the 21st Manama Dialogue, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain and organized by the International Institute for Strategic Studies.
In their discussion of the situation in Gaza, Safadi and Al Zayani emphasized the importance of maintaining the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, making sure that humanitarian aid is delivered promptly and adequately, and advancing a comprehensive vision that ensures security, stability, and reconstruction in Gaza while establishing a real political horizon for achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
