Madrid,
4 Nov (ONA) — Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, affirmed
that the historic visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Kingdom
of Spain represents a new and advanced phase in Omani-Spanish relations. The
visit demonstrates the enduring strength of historical and civilizational ties
between the two nations and reflects the determination of both leaderships to
elevate cooperation and partnership to broader horizons while deepening
consultation and coordination on all matters of mutual interest.

Badr stated: “In Madrid, we witnessed substantial alignment in our visions
and positions, along with a shared understanding of the crucial role that
diplomacy and dialogue play in strengthening regional and international
security and stability.” He added that this visit reinforces the mutual
respect and trust between the two countries, opens new avenues for economic
cooperation and cultural and scientific exchange, and promotes more diverse and
substantial collaboration.
The
minister further emphasized: “The common values and genuine commitment to
developing relations that unite the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Spain
establish the foundation for a promising era of joint work based on innovation,
openness, and seizing opportunities. This serves the interests of both friendly
peoples and generates greater benefits for our two nations.”
