Amman, January 28 (Petra) – Specialised firefighting crews from the East Irbid Civil Defence Directorate responded to a fire that broke out in a 50-square-meter tent in the Hawara area.
The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the fire resulted in the deaths of four children from the same family, all of Arab nationality, aged between six and nine years, after they suffered severe burns.
Firefighting crews extinguished the blaze, while ambulance teams transported the deceased to a hospital. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
