Gaza, Sept. 2 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Tuesday that 76 Palestinians were killed and 281 injured over the past 24 hours as the Israeli offensive on the Strip continues.
In its daily statistical report, the ministry said the toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 63,633 killed and 160,914 injured.
Hospitals in Gaza also recorded 13 deaths in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition, including three children, raising the total number of malnutrition-related deaths to 361, of whom 130 were children.
The ministry warned of the accelerating catastrophic consequences of famine in Gaza, reporting 185 malnutrition deaths in August alone, the highest monthly figure in recent months. It cautioned that current indicators are alarming, while emergency responses remain limited due to severe shortages of food and medical supplies.
