GCC Gross Domestic Product Reaches $588.1 Billion by End of Q1 of 2025Muscat, 6 Oct (ONA) — The gross domestic product at current prices for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states reached $588.1 billion by the end of the first quarter of 2025. This reflects an increase from $570.9 billion recorded at the end of the first quarter of 2024, representing a growth rate of 3 percent.Statistics released by the Statistical Centre for the Gulf Cooperation Council indicated that the contribution share of non-oil activities to the GCC’s GDP at current prices by the end of the first quarter of 2025 reached 73.2 percent, compared to 26.8 percent for oil-related activities.The gross domestic product at constant current prices for the Council member states in the first quarter of 2025 recorded a growth of 0.1 percent, having been valued at $587.8 billion in the fourth quarter.— Ends/AH
