Amman, Dec. 3 (Petra) – The 46th session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Supreme Council opened on Wednesday in Bahrain.
The summit, chaired by Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, brought together a number of Gulf Arab leaders, with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni attending as a guest of honor.
The summit is of particular significance, given current regional circumstances and growing challenges facing the region, underscoring the need for joint coordination, safeguard regional security and stability, and support efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.
