Amman, January 27 (Petra) Speaker of the Lower House Mazen Qadi met on Tuesday with the Algerian Ambassador to Jordan, Abdelkrim Baha, to discuss ties, with a particular focus on parliamentary cooperation.
Qadi said Jordanian-Algerian relations are strong and witnessing tangible progress, serving the interests of both countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II and President of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
He called for enhancing parliamentary cooperation and expanding prospects for trade, investment and educational collaboration in ways that positively serve the interests of both peoples.
Ambassador Baha, in turn, called for strengthening bilateral cooperation and expressed deep appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah II’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, as well as his continued efforts to promote security and stability in the region.
