Amman, August 22 (Petra)– The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Friday implemented an airdrop operation to deliver aid to Gaza, with the participation of Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft, alongside airplanes from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, and France.
Nearly 37 tonnes of food and relief aid were delivered to Gaza.
This raises to 161 the number of airdrops conducted by the JAF since 27 July, while total airdrops conducted with international partners reached 388. A total of 788 tonnes of humanitarian aid have been airdropped by Jordan’s air force since then.
