Rate Drops in Norway
Oslo,
10 Jun (ONA) — Norway’s annual core inflation rate, excluding energy costs
and taxes, decreased in May 2025, according to data released by Statistics
Norway (SSB) today.
The
rate fell to 2.8% year on year, a drop from the 3.0% recorded in April. This
figure was also lower than the 2.9% that analysts had anticipated.
Accordingly,
interest rates in Norway are expected to decrease during the coming months.
