Amman, Feb 2 (Petra) – During a surprise visit to the Jaber border crossing with Syria on Monday, Interior Minister Mazen Faraya checked on infrastructure development, including expansion of canopies and customs-bonded yards, and installing X-ray cargo and baggage inspection equipment.
The projects are expected to be finalized before the middle of the year.
The minister saw first-hand the workflow at the crossing and services to travelers, as well as the movement of cargo between Jordan and Syria. He also met with travelers and drivers using the crossing.
