Ramallah, Nov. 4 (Petra) — Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday carried out large-scale raids and arrests across several areas of the occupied West Bank, searching homes, damaging property and making some houses as military barracks.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPC), Israeli forces stormed multiple areas amid heavy gunfire and arrested 17 Palestinians, claiming they were “wanted.”
Meanwhile, dozens of Jewish settlers entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem from the Magharebah Gate, under heavy protection from Israeli police.
In a statement, Jordan-run Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem said the settlers raided the courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern section of the mosque compound.
