Damascus, July 31 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a new incursion today into the vicinity of the Ruwayhinah Dam in the northern countryside of Quneitra Governorate in southern Syria, according to local sources.
The sources said an Israeli force comprising three military vehicles entered the area around the Ruwayhinah Dam, where it confronted local residents before withdrawing. No arrests were reported during the operation.
The latest incursion came a day after Israeli occupation forces shelled the eastern vicinity of Tal al-Ahmar in the southern Quneitra countryside with three artillery rounds. No casualties were reported.
The Israeli military continues violating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Israel and Syria, amid calls by the Syrian authorities on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by compelling the occupation to withdraw completely from its territory. (QNA)
