Amman, Feb 11 (Petra) – Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reaffirmed his country’s rejection of Israeli settlement activities in the West Bank.
According to AKI News, Tajani told the House of Representatives on Wednesday, “We oppose any form of annexation of the West Bank to Israel,” referring to the recent Israeli Security Cabinet decision to expand settlement activity in the area.
Tajani also noted, “We have always strongly condemned attacks carried out by extremist settlers against Christian communities and places of worship in the West Bank.”
