Amman, Oct. 25 (Petra) – The Northern Military Zone of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) thwarted an infiltration attempt today, Saturday, within its area of responsibility.
The attempt involved an individual who was intercepted by border guards while trying to cross the frontier illegally.
The JAF applied the established rules of engagement and successfully apprehended the infiltrator. The individual has since been transferred to the relevant competent authorities for the necessary legal processing and investigation.
