Amman, Jan. 25 (Petra) –King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), in cooperation with Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), is continuing to implement the 2025 Food Security Project by distributing dates to impoverished families in various Jordanian governorates.
According to a JHCO statement issued on Sunday, field teams have completed distribution operations in the Kingdom’s northern and central governorates, including Amman, Irbid, Zarqa, and Mafraq, based on an “organized” distribution plan that ensures smooth aid delivery to deserving beneficiaries.
The JHCO is currently preparing to complete the project in the southern governorates of Karak, Tafila, Ma’an, and Aqaba to ensure aid reaches eligible families in all target regions.
This initiative builds on the success of the previous project, which distributed over 2,000 tons of dates, and benefited more than 1,512,000 people in Jordan that contributed to supporting underprivileged households and enhancing community food security.
