Amman, November 2 (Petra) – The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) organized 11 awareness events and educational lectures on Saturday with employees from public administration institutions and officers from the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
In its statement issued on Sunday, the JIACC said the dialogues aimed to introduce its operations and duties and highlight corruption practices contained in the commission’s law, and their social, economic, and political repercussions.
The JIACC added 6 out of the total dialogues targeted employees from Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Zarqa Health Directorate, and Jordan Free and Development Zones Group.
Meanwhile, 2 educational lectures were also held for officers at the PSD’s Community Peace Center and the Preventive Security Training Center.
Additionally, the commission held 3 awareness lectures for the public sector, organized by the Institute of Public Administration in cooperation with the Audit Bureau, as part of the programme to asses the government’s internal monitoring and oversight entities.
