Amman, Jan. 28 (Petra) — Minister of Agriculture Saeb Khraisat on Wednesday discussed with AMIDEAST CEO Greta Holtz, ways to enhance joint cooperation in capacity building and skill development for the ministry’s workers.
During the meeting held in Amman, both sides emphasized the importance of these programs in improving employee efficiency and performance, which “positively” affect institutional work quality and communication with international partners.
Khraisat praised AMIDEAST’s role in supporting national institutions, stressing the ministry’s commitment to investing in human capital and developing staff skills to serve the Kingdom’s agricultural sector and its food security.
Under an existing agreement with the ministry, AMIDEAST provides eight levels of English language training to 200 ministry employees.
