Amman, Feb. 23 (Petra) – Jordan’s Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee met Monday with Czech Ambassador to Jordan Andrea Kucerova to discuss prospects to enhance bilateral cooperation.
Head of the committee, MP Haitham Ziadin, highlighted the deep Jordan-Czech relations and urged building on existing partnerships through parliamentary exchanges to promote cooperation and serve mutual interests.
He highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy to foster dialogue on issues of common interest amid regional and international challenges.
Ziadin also called for expanding cooperation in tourism and education and leveraging the upcoming European investment conference in April to boost investment opportunities.
Kucerova said Czech Republic valued the close relations with Jordan, underscoring an interest in broadening collaboration in economic, educational, tourism, digital, and cybersecurity fields.
She also noted coordination on regional and international issues to enhance relations and promote security and stability, and praised Jordan’s experiences in technology, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
