Amman, October 28 (Petra) – The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Tuesday expressed concern over the developments in Sudan, condemning the violations committed against civilians and the escalation that undermines efforts to resolve the Sudanese crisis.
According to a statement, the Ministry stressed the urgent need to exercise restraint and implement a ceasefire to safeguard civilian lives.
Ministry spokesperson Fuad Majali said Jordan supports all efforts aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to the crisis in a manner that preserves Sudan’s security, unity, stability and sovereignty, as well as the safety of its territory and people.
